Shiv Tekdi Temple

The Shiv Tekdi Temple is a place of spiritual significance and natural beauty. Nestled amidst lush surroundings, this temple dedicated to Lord Shiva provides a tranquil space for meditation and reflection. The soothing ambiance adds to the spiritual experience. There is no evidence of Nagbhid as a historical base, but there were four such towers in total near Dagriya in front of the Janata Vidyalaya building in today's Bazar Chowk and at three other places, and probably a Perkot holding it. His remains are said to be near the Bintari Sandesh tower on the Shiva hill and at the foot of the hill are the mausoleums of the Gond king and queen. After the body is buried, a large stone is placed on the side of the head. Such a huge rock must have been known by the name of Shivtekdi for years. On Mahashivratri, a pilgrimage is held at this place.
